Our Process & Compensation
Client Intake Process is all about finding out what you want to accomplish, and why it is important to you.
Financial Planning Process is the creation of the “road-map” that we will follow in helping you pursue those goals you gave us in the intake process.
Investment Management Process is the selection of the money managers and tools that do the work of taking us from point A to point B of the map we created in the planning process. Investment management also involves continuous monitoring and updating to changing goals, investment markets or priorities.
Review Process is our ongoing service and analyses with you, the client. Our goal here is to make sure you know three things; what you own, why you own it and that we are working together towards the goals and dreams you entrusted us with.
Our compensation philosophy is that we believe anyone should be able to receive quality financial services at an understandable cost. Here, at Harris Financial Services, Inc., we offer you both investment advisory and brokerage services.
In an investment advisory relationship, clients pay an ongoing asset-based fee. In a brokerage relationship, clients typically pay a commission on each transaction in the account. In some cases, an advisory relationship may cost you more than a brokerage relationship. However, in other cases a brokerage relationship may cost you more. Keep in mind that your needs and goals may change over time, and how you transact business with your financial advisor may change as well.
We would be happy to meet with you and discuss the most appropriate fee structure for you. Our initial meeting is always complimentary and is a good way to get to know one another.
